How to Choose the Best Jeans for Your Size

Unfortunately, not all jeans are the same, and not all retailers carry sizes designed specifically for people 5’9″ or taller. So what should a shopper do?

Since most product descriptions or size charts list the inseam, knowing yours length is crucial when shopping for jeans.

But, wait, what is an inseam? The inseam is the distance between the groin area and the end of the leg opening. So to measure yours, take a soft tape measure and note the length in inches from below your crotch to the bottom of your ankle.

Of course, measuring yourself is… a little tricky. So here’s an easier way to get your inseam measurement: grab a pair of jeans you know and like the length of and measure them instead.

To measure the inseam of jeans, lay them flat on a table and measure along the inside of the leg, from the groin to the hem. And so, There.
