Britney Spears’ wedding dresses, bridal looks over the years

Oops!… She started again.

On June 9, 2022, Britney Spears married Sam Asghari at her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., surrounded by celebrity friends including Madonna, Selena Gomez and Paris Hilton.

For her walk down the aisle, the Princess of Pop wore an elegant and sophisticated Versace wedding dress featuring a portrait neckline, pearl buttons, a high slit and a 10ft train.

Spears styled her dress with a 15-foot veil trimmed in white satin, sheer fingerless gloves and white satin pumps.

She also wore plenty of Stephanie Gottlieb diamond jewelry, including a sparkling choker, tennis bracelet and dangling earrings in addition to her two stone-embellished wedding bands.

But the bridal style didn’t stop there. Designer Donatella Versace also provided Spears with three different reception dresses: a black blazer-inspired mini, a two-tone outfit and a red fringe dress, all perfect for dancing the night away with loved ones.

Spears and Versace have worked together for many years, with the designer dressing the musical icon on several occasions throughout the 2000s and supporting her during her long conservatorship battle.

This wasn’t the first time the “Stronger” singer said “yes,” Nevertheless. In 2004, she and her childhood friend Jason Alexander held a ceremony in Las Vegas that lasted 55 hours of marital bliss.

For the impromptu union at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Sin City, Spears went casual in era-appropriate low-rise jeans (her “something blue,” perhaps), a black crop top that showed off the midriff and just a touch of bridal white in the form of a baseball cap.

Britney Spears married her first husband, Jason Alexander, in jeans and a baseball cap.

The marriage didn’t last, but in a show of “toxic” behavior, Alexander, 40, then tried to crash his marriage to Asghari.

Less than a year after Spears and Alexander’s vows were rescinded, the superstar married auxiliary dancer Kevin Federline – better known as K-Fed – with much of their courtship and subsequent nuptials captured in their reality show, “Britney and Kevin: Chaotic”.

At their nuptials on September 18, 2004, a new brunette Spears strutted down the aisle in a much more traditional strapless silk dress by famous favorite Monique Lhuillier.

“Britney was at the height of her career when her team approached me to design her wedding dress,” Lhuillier told Page Six Style exclusively in 2021.

“She was incredibly down to earth, sweet and kind. She had childlike excitement about the process. We made several fittings in secret places to avoid the paparazzi. I designed her dress, choker, gloves and a beautiful cathedral veil. I also designed her second lace mini dress and dressed her entire bridal party.

Spears’ clean and sultry reception look wasn’t her only outfit change of the evening; for the couple’s after-party at a nearby nightclub, she wore a white Juicy Couture tracksuit personalized with “Mrs. Federline” spelled out on the back. Her bridesmaids, meanwhile, coordinated in Juicy pink suits personalized with “The Maids”, while mum Lynne Spears’ look said “Hot Mama”.

Federline and his groomsmen all wore white Juicy ensembles furthermore, the groom identifying him as “The Pimp”. (His buddies were “The Pimps.”)

Despite their large loungewear order, Spears and Federline did not last long as husband and wife; the couple, who share sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, separated in 2006.

In an iconic gesture, the “Sometimes” crooner wore her lace reception dress to buy a Mercedes the day the duo’s divorce was finalized in 2007.

Love may fade, but fashion is forever.
