The last time Elon Musk sold anything other than cars, aka the flamethrower, it sold out in just hours! That being said, the CEO of Tesla just announced another Tesla collectible called the “cyberwhistle” for $50!
Tesla Cyberwhistle Sells Out
The cyberwhistle, according to its description, is a medical-grade stainless steel whistle that’s shaped like Tesla’s upcoming cybertruck. A few hours after Elon Musk Tweeter, the collectible sold out almost instantly.
According to the story of Engadget, as Elon Musk showed with the flamethrower that he has a hell of a knack for selling weird gadgets that really have nothing to do with the company’s core business. With that, the latest unrelated Tesla product is a collectible whistle called the “cyberwhistle” that sold for $50.
“Not a Flamethrower” Possession Issues
The collectible whistle is modeled after Tesla’s highly anticipated cybertruck and has already sold out just hours after its release. At least with the new cyberwhistle there is still some connection to Tesla, unlike Boring Co.’s previous “Not a Flamethrower”.
Some flamethrower owners, however, have encountered problems overseas. As seen in a previous TechTimes article, Max Craddock, an American, spent two days in an Italian prison for the flamethrower with his lawyer trying to clarify that it was not a ” weapon of war” but a “toy sold to children”. “
Medical grade steel with a polished finish
According to the description, the cyberwhistle is inspired by the cybertruck and is a “limited edition” premium collectible that is made of medical grade steel with a polished finish. The description says the whistle includes a built-in clip feature to add to its versatility.
According to Engadget, the publication said they imagined it would take some time to design a whistle in the shape of a truck. That means it’s very likely that Tesla had already been planning to sell the collectible for some time as just a temporary product, much like the $1,500 Tesla-branded surfboard.
Elon Musk comments on the Apple Cloth
The publication said the Tesla CEO might have seen the Apple Cloth that sold for $19 and could sense a strong marketing angle. Musk directly mentioned the Apple Fabric in his Tweeter, telling the public not to buy it but rather to buy Tesla’s cyberwhistle.
Elon Musk described the Apple Cloth as “dumb”, telling people to buy the Tesla whistle. To add to that, Elon Musk encouraged his followers to “speak out against Tesla”.

Highly Anticipated Tesla Cybertruck
The stunt seemed to work as Tesla’s cyberwhistle sold out within hours of it officially going on sale. It does appear, however, that the company plans to restock the cyberwhistle at some point in the future, according to the Tesla store. the description.
The next Tesla cybertruck itself has already received millions of reservations when it comes to reality. Unfortunately, the cybertruck was actually quietly delayed to 2022 instead of launching this year.

Although the exhausted cyberwhistle, there are already merchandise on Amazon like shirts that say, “I wanted a cyberwhistle but all I got is this boring tshirt.” Along with this, the shirts have options for a t-shirt, v-neck, long sleeve, and tank top.
