High neck dresses: how to accessorize them

High neck dresses are the epitome of chic – perfect for sophisticated outfits a glamorous event. However, it can be tricky to decide how to accessorize in order to avoid a clash of lines. Obviously a choker is a no-no, and if your hair is brushed up into a bun to focus on the cleavage, you might be inclined to opt for a dangling earring, but how on earth do you navigate the necklace ?

Matching earrings

Sofia Carson attended the 2022 MTV Film & Television Awards earlier this month in a monochrome striped dress by Iris van Herpen. She opted for an earring that nodded to the pattern of her dress and tied the whole look together. Often with high neck dresses, people tend to wear their hair slicked back, but we love Sofia’s sleek side parting and think it complements the drama of her dress perfectly.
