A STYLE influencer shared a video of herself getting dressed for her daily job, browsing through several outfits until she found one that suited her perfectly.
But his final choice left followers baffled – the set wouldn’t fly in many offices.
Santina Rizzi is a fashion influencer with over 460,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram. Her bio reads “the slut you get ready with,” so viewers know what to expect when they tune in.
In a recent “get ready with me” video, Rizzi, who works at a law firm, struggled to find the right top for a perfectly knee-length skirt.
First, she tried on a white button-up shirt, a staple in every working woman’s wardrobe.
But the long shirt overwhelmed Rizzi’s simple midi skirt. After a half-hearted attempt to style the top, she gave him two thumbs down.
She tried to save the look by layering the white button over a cropped white t-shirt, but trying out the pairing gave her a whiff of inspiration.
Rizzi grabbed a dark vest with hot pink lining and a bold skull motif on the back.
The stylish vlogger couldn’t get her fitted cardigan to look perfect, but after ditching it, she found the perfect shirt to complete the look.
She settled into a black ruffled crop top, with two top buttons that left a fair amount of midriff exposed.
Rizzi styled the midriff-baring shirt with knee-high socks, loafers, and a mini backpack, and she was ultimately satisfied — though she admitted her outfit wouldn’t fly in most offices.
“Definitely inappropriate work attire but I don’t care,” she wrote.
Commenters were happy to hear that Rizzi knew her outfit was pushing the envelope.
“My boss will send me a ** this hour ride,” wrote one envious fan.
“The skirt is fine,” wrote one commenter who had a more work-appropriate suggestion. “Tuck in the white button-up shirt. It will be gorgeous.”
Another commenter took the time to chastise Rizzi for his choices.
“You have to understand that work is work, and cute and sexy is for after work,” the disapproving viewer wrote.
A fellow fashionista expressed her jealousy for Rizzi’s situation, and the influencer revealed her office wasn’t as casual as many would assume.
“Does your law firm allow you to wear clothes that show your torso? wrote the astonished viewer. “Fortunate.”
“No! That’s why it’s inappropriate,” Rizzi admitted. “I covered my belly all day.”
